Convolvulus Crochet Shawl/Scarf Pattern
This pretty crochet shawl pattern is perfect for single skeins of precious hand-dyed or a good quality commercial yarn. With a basic motif of building rows with longer and longer vertical columns, it’s ideal for highly variegated colourways that tend to pool and streak. It's called Convolvulus because anyone who has this pretty but invasive bindweed in their garden will know how it loves to wind itself up other plant stalks, looking much like the longer stitches in this little shawl!
SIZE: The 4-ply (fingering) weight version (pink) measures approx 170cm (67in) long x 40cm (16in) at its widest point. The laceweight version (rainbow colours) is 160cm (63in) long x 28cm (11in).
Easy to size up or down, or substitute different weights of yarn.
